A lot has changed since HireVue released its first AI Explainability Statement, but our commitment to the ethical development and transparent use of AI remains the same. 

 

Explainability work is not a one-time declaration but an ongoing dialogue with our customers, candidates, and other stakeholders. This 2024 version, which you can download here, includes:

 

  • Platform Updates: Explore enhancements in our Talent to Opportunity Platform™, which has hosted over 40 million video interviews and 200 million assessments.

  • AI Techniques & Components: Learn how we refined our AI competency models to improve candidate evaluation, expanding diversity and global representation. Updates also include new details on Game-Based Assessments (GBAs).

  • Ethics & Consent: See how candidates can opt out of AI evaluations while remaining in the hiring process.

  • Testing & Validation: Dive into our AI testing, including multipenalty-optimized models and ongoing bias mitigation strategies.

  • Stakeholder & Accessibility Focus: See how we’ve expanded stakeholder engagement and accessibility, detailing accommodations for candidates with disabilities.
